Howard Baum came to Central College Christian Academy after a 35 year career as a teacher (10 years) and principal (25 years) in Westerville City Schools. After retiring in 2013, Howard worked with adults with developmental disabilities, assessing and training to help them be successful in the workforce. When the opportunity for Howard to return to working with students, he gratefully accepted the principalship of CCCA. Howard holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.A. in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University.
A long-time resident of Westerville, Howard and his wife, Mary Anne, have 3 grown sons and 1 grandson. He has an interesting collection of canes and walking sticks. When not working, Howard enjoys volunteering for activities and events with the Westerville Lions Club.
